Parachute Program

Alternative outdoor activities, sports events and team building

The parachute program was designed as an alternative in case bad weather prevents the output in the open sea and regular outdoor activities. This program will still achieve the objective for which it was commissioned the sailing event, be it a corporate incentive or outdoor team building activities.

Team building activities

The corporate event will begin with the welcoming of guests at the marina “Sporting Club Le Saline” where the Venice Work Sailing Team will describe the program of the day and give a short theoretical concepts on sailing with documentation for each participant.

Various activities and sporting events provided in “Parachute Program”:

• Cruising sailboat in the inner lagoon (without going to open sea) with stops at Chioggia (visit to the fish market and to the Maritime Museum), Pellestrina or Venice.
• Tutorial training with the boat moored at the quay, between the various crews: time trial race to hoist the sails or to organize the spinnaker circuit, time trial challenge to climb to the top of the mast, or time trial quiz on the terminology of sailing.
• Activities with the sailboat in motion: time trial race to simulate the crew rescue in case of falling overboard; time trial race to simulate the definition of the ship's with charts' help.
