Section: special events, corporate incentives.
Evocative and original example of incentive travel business: it is a cruise on a sailing boat that favors the less known and less touristic places of the Venice Lagoon: a sailboat tour in the villages of the fishermen who go out every day with their fishing boat to supply the famous fish market in Rialto.
We propose two itineraries:
Both tours will depart from the marina of Chioggia “Sporting Club Le Saline” or from Fusina (near Venice) where the skipper and a guide/interpreter, in the case of foreign clients, will present the program of the excursion to the guests.
Cruise along the Giudecca Canal, St. Mark's Basin and the coast of Lido, and then out in the sea from the mouth of Malamocco, returning to the inner Laguna. Here you must visit Chioggia, the quaint village considered the "Little Venice" and famous for its fish market, one of the largest in the Adriatic Sea.
Lunch in a traditional restaurant with tasting of local products and local seafood. In the afternoon, the sailing cruise will go on with a tour of the South Lagoon along Pellestrina, folk fishing village with its typical spiling where fishing nets are laid out to dry. Back in the late afternoon.
Sailing along Lido and South Laguna to San Pietro in Volta and Pellestrina. Mooring and walk along the "embankments," long "Istrian stone" dam built in '700 to defend villages from flooding and dividing the lagoon from the sea and the beach of Ca 'Roman (WWF).
Lunch and tasting of local seafood in Pellestrina, in a restaurant overlooking the lagoon. In the afternoon, visit of Chioggia. If weather conditions permit, sailing out at sea and back in Venice in the late afternoon through the mouths of Lido.
