The experience of the Chioggia - Rovinj – Chioggia Regatta involves the crew in a long race with night navigation. An interesting proposal to organize a team building event or a sailing management training course.
The purpose of the training course are: team working, the organization of the boat, the cooperation between individuals, the confidence in staff members, the development of leadership, the strategy and tactics of racing, the distribution of roles on board, the responsibility for the conduct and choices of the team. The skipper will be present as a support and help, intervening only in an emergency and temporary need.
The sailing event will start on Thursday morning at the Marina di Chioggia “Sporting Club Le Saline". Here the Venice Work Sailing Team will proceed with the illustration of the event, with a briefing on equipment and operations. self- allocation of roles , preparation of the galley by the crew. This task is part of the training.
The Regatta Chioggia - Rovinj - Chioggia will develop by Thursday at about 23.00, with crossing at night to Sunday afternoon with the restart on Saturday evening at about 23.00.
